Hello. I met up with Hillary Miles today and interviewed her. She was extremely pleasant to talk to and her work is delightful as well. Hit the jump to read the interview.
“Hillary is pursuing her BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she makes sculptures, paintings, and illustrations. She was born and raised in the same Maryland county where Jim Henson grew up, watched a lot of sci-fi and fantasy movies, spent her fair share of time at Renaissance Festivals, and gothed out for a bit as a kid.”
I had a great time meeting David of Affinity Parcels and participating in this interview over the weekend! Definitely check out their collective and their interesting take on community and collaboration.
Terrible app if what you want from a Podcast app is for it to, you know, reliably download the latest podcasts… I guess if you had different expectations, such as not ever having the latest edition of your favorite podcast ready to play, you might call the app a great success.
Maybe I’m alone here, but I use the Podcast app on a daily basis and generally like it. It’s not perfect, of course. But to me, it’s far better than the old sync-with-iTunes method of getting podcasts from Apple (there are a few solid third-party apps as well).
